I’ve been running tap water with my last couple runs too. Got sick of pumping 25-30 gallons of R/O everyday so I switched to chlorinated tap water 6 months ago.
It’s coming out of the tap at 170PPM and leaves me just enough room for my main NPK and a few other goodies. So far so good! Plants haven’t shown any deficiencies and growing as usual.
Thank you Hope!![]()

I'm in veg. I'm running photoperiod. I tried to squeeze but it’s really hardIf you have a plant that is ready to harvest practice on that because you don't care.
I start to bend with my thumbs against the stem. A little, and back straight a few times, going more as I feel it starting to give.
I stop and pinch the stem a bit, compressing it a little. I roll it in my fingers, and feel it getting more pliable.
I go back and bend it a little more.
You might have to support the end of the branch afterwards until the area heals and hardens again.
Use a pair of pliers with a little strip of electrical tape around the pliers teeth. This will stop bite marks and crunching the stem.I'm in veg. I'm running photoperiod. I tried to squeeze but it’s really hardMaybe pliars would help?
