Let's not forget that this is ideal for those who follow 'plant count' rules.
Interesting one would that be mate yeah but tbh doing/comparing this with autoflowers makes no real sense with autoflowers, each seed can be different/different phenotype, only way to do this is with clones from photoperiods. Growing a single auto, comparing it to lets say a SOG with 36 auto's is just luck of the draw to which one is picked.
I feel ya mate, matter of perspective too. But if you have limited 'space' and want to grow some variation this method is prob not best for you.
If you really want to go all-in, I would say you estimate gr/watt / m2 (or sq. ft for you USA folk) / Time spent (weeks from start to harvest).
This is the only variable that makes sense to compare it all.
I'm growing with organic soil and slow release dry amendments. Should I start the top bend early since I won't get that extra veg time and delayed preflower from hydro?

Ok. I got her in a 5 gal.All depends on if it's big enough to bend over if there's not side branches there's not much need that I can think of. Once you get some side branches growing pull the top down to get them level as possible. But probably not time lines are probably going to be about the same how big of a pot are you using for organic? I believe the bigger the pot the more veg time you'll get sometimes but not all the time![]()
I read this on the dutch passion site. This is a quote from 420auto. Im just worried because timing is so important. All depends on if it's big enough to bend over if there's not side branches there's not much need that I can think of. If I hook them up to automated fertigation at day 21 my preflower pistils don’t usually appear until around day 45, giving me a little extra time to work the plant compared to your average soil grow.
