On my 10th grow.on first grow I used mixture of happy frog an ocean forest with fox farm nutes.for my first grow ever it was a 2 plant closet grow with black star led.stains were super skunk auto and berry Ryder from single seed co.I was pretty proud for using 3 gal pots I got 80 grams of really good smoke.second grow was in a 4x4 tent under 600 watt HP's an I used ideal 420 seemed easier to just add water.9 grows later I'm still using it.I followed directions on bag per watered soil and planted my germinated seeds directly into soil.at time I was only growing autos most sprouted but my death ratio was way up. After several grows an losing a lot a seeds I pulled my head out ta my ass an fig out what problem was.some seedlings popped an took off most autos either died or were stunted. I fig the soil is just too hot for certain strains. So my solution was I filled my 5 gallon pots with about 3 gal of ideal I topped off the other 2 gal with a neutral potting soil that I added extra perlite with. That way by time the roots reached the super soil the plant was big enough too handle it.since starting I've switched too two 4x4 tents with 600mh for veg an 6.5x6.5 tent with two 1000 watt hps for flower.I also have a 2x2 led clone tent.each tent is roughly 1 month behind the other an the big flower tent is split in 2 one side a month behind other side so I have a 6-8 plant harvest every month.the feminized seeds seem too love the ideal 420.the stems are thick the root system is perfect (I don't transplant unless I have too).I also start topping my girls before veg.I continue to top through out veg and I lollipop them wen they get 3-4ft then wen they go to flower and all I have is multiple colas no side buds no whispy buds jus nice colas.so in my expierence 420 is great as long as you use a neutral potting soil to start.it is a pain to spend 130 every time u need soil but if your growing in right conditions you will be pleased.if there's anyone else out there that has experience with this feel free to comment and let me know your experiences with it thank you
