Old Reviews GrowMore Nutrients Q&A with TdiBear

Hey IDS....So to put it simply Grow More is the only 30% concentration of Up or Down in the market...It is federally regulated and we are the only company authorized to sell it at the retail level. You'll notice that botanicare has just came out with a Ph up and Down that's 29% and 28%; basically the most anyone can do without getting popped by the feds...I'm not sure of the concentration of other companies though, as all too often in the Hydro industry happen, companies won't discuss what's REALLY the concentration in the products. I swear the Hydro industry and the retail labeling is worse than in the 1920's when guys were selling 'patented' drugs out the back of Model T's  There's also been some issues with the actual concentration of other products in the market, as most are phosphoric acid (down) and Potassium hydroxide (Up) and have to be diluted down from the 75% concentrates or the 30% we sell. So basically they are cutting for example a 75% down to 5 parts water and 1 part concentrate to reach a 15% concentration....But mostly I can't say ours is any more or less special from any other brand because it's just basic chemicals/raw materials. We don't use dyes like some others do...So yeah it will require less to the same thing; raise or lower the Ph...Let me know if you need anything else about that...

Thanks tedi man!

romeo and damn i know there's more but Im running on fumes brain not sparking right now

panic check indoor section for a thread titled sniper visits melmac that was all seagrow plants and ended with a bom nom

Roger, Ill check it out.

Hey Tdi (and anyone else who might know),

My PH meter is down and needs to be repaired or replaced.
In the meantime, I plan on using distilled water with Mendocino Cal-Mag to cover the essential minerals.
How much of the mendo cal mag should I use per gallon?
I'm growing in pro-mix organic, added perlite and vermiculite.

I think that 5ml/gal is a fair and safe number...If you are later on in the flowering cycle and have a large of Phosphorus going into the mix I would recommend pushing it up to 7ml/gal....Apprx 200ppm will be increased with 5ml/gal usage

hey tdibear, I had a question or two for you. i was wondering if there was that much difference the sea grow 4/26/17 and the hawaiian bud 5/50/17 ( sorry if those arent exact numbers ) or does the bud product just perform better with cannabis. Also, I have come across threads where people use both products. Im fairly new to growing but it seems like using both is kinda of overkill. Thanks in advance for your advice.

I use the HB in conjunction with the 4/26/26 with great results..I start with snipers feed guide then bump it up weekly and finish with avalanche and mendo honey .then plain water .The HB is a bloom booster and bud hardener.

This question is for tdi or anyone who can answer.

So we've all seen snipers schedule, but what about a photo schedule?

Sorry this is a little late...i'm assuming that you are asking if using the 4-26-26 (Bloom) and the Hawaiian Bud together is overkill... i had the same way of thinking until i used the HB in mid/late flower at a rate of 1/4 tsp per gallon along with the Bloom and had great results. Never have i had as dense of buds as i have with this last grow...and i grow solely under T5's, the buds were very hard and heavy. i will definitely continue using the HB with my next grow.

Hope this helps! :peace:

This was taken from Plantsthatproduce.com and i suggest visiting the complete article for more information as well as shopping from this site. Richard Frost, the owner is a great guy and very helpful. The prices and service are unbeatable.

One thing that i strongly suggest regarding the chart above, is to ignore the light schedule for autos. i don't suggest running your autos at 12/12 start to finish. i have never personally started my autos under this exact feeding schedule either, so use at your own discretion.

Also, depending on whats in your soil and water, you may need to include some type of Cal/Mag supplement. The SeaGrow does have some Magnesium but no Calcium.

Note that the chart is listed as milliliters per gallon. Also, this is for growing in soil/soiless mediums, NOT hydro. Visit the article for the Hydro chart.

Good luck and happy growing! :peace:
