do you have small sample sizes of your products ? Do you have any stores in Ma. selling your products ? I currently use but they are exspensive so I am looking for other options.

Hey Foigwtd I was talking to DaBaracuss and he had some information about the CalMag i would recommend...I would not recommend using the above formulation due to the Urea in the mix, as well as the HIGH nitrogen. The magnesium is a little low at 1% in the MaxiPlex; the one i recommend has 2% Mag, 3% cal, and 2.2% organic based nitrogen and i would use 5ml/gal during early flowering and then ramp it up as you get into flowering and increase the phosphorus used...He said he would post something on it today...

So I bought that formula for nothing? I originally bought it to handle any cal/mag problems I run into but after reading this I'm starting to think I wasted my money. It's hard enough being a noob at growing but it's even worse when you end up wasting money on stuff you shouldn't have bought because people say it's good.

LOL we all bin there but you got to read the label and do ya home work a bit ..an you will see that most of the GM products give you the most bang for your buck..I want to add that I think the Sangria product really brings out the flavor of fruity strains...Check the price and the content and judge for yourself...

The CA Cancer warning is not on every thing, just thing proven to cause cancer which happens to be a lot of stuff now a days. I don't believe any of the other nutrients I own, have that warning but both the Seagrows do. I'd like to know, why I shouldn't be concerned?

There was news story back in the 70's, about a study done that proved coffee caused cancer. What they failed to mention in the story was they were dosing the rats at a level equivalent to 150 cups a day......

Easy answer:

It costs about $5 at Plantsthatproduce. Toss it and buy Botanicare CalMag+. It's not a lot of money.

If you want a better answer:

Call Grow More (310-515-1700) and ask to speak to someone about your concern that the N content is too high. I spoke to a fellow there who was very knowledgeable. I forgot his name but I think he was their chief chemist/botanist.

I agree with you that it seems like a lot of N. I'm curious what Grow More thinks about it.

Freiya- Is this the Ca-Mg supp' that had a 10-0-0 rating? If so, it's not that it's bad product, but the annoying inclusion of all the N along with it...(10 is a solid dose!); often, folks don't want that N in there, especially during flowering, and at that strength, it can be a hassle to work with your regular fert's dosing.... *** lottsa choices with Ca-Mg supps'! Botanicare is great stuff, has lots of other goodies in it; General Organics CaMg+ is great too, a less complex formula for those using other supp's that may overlap with more rich formulas,... :smoke:
