I wonder if a coco based soil mix will outperform a peat based, or regular organic mix. It'd be interesting to see the differences.I disagree that any particular form will grow more than another. Comparing soil to coco or hydro is difficult as soil relies on organic processes to take place vs chelated minerals. In a test of equal pot size, hydro will likely win. a fairer comparison would be alt least a 10 gallon pot for soil vs 5 gallon coco or hydro. And nothing is simpler than organic soil!
Yet coco does have an allure to it and that's why I'm trying it. its also a style of growing I haven't tried before. I'm just not thrilled about all that nute mixing, and periodic flushing, ph testing, etc......... Its so nice to just water and watch them grow!
My lord those nugs are so amazing, I can't say I'm not jealousBlackberry Buds
