Hello to all, I thought it would be a good idea to start this thread for people can post there opinion on the Easiest, Hardiest, Most forgiving strains for beginners like me and many others on AFN, would greatly appreciate everyone's input. Peace and Big Buds be with you all

Most marijuana strains are very forgiving..

What you want to do is keep soil temperatures ideal (not too cold)
Not water too often or over water
Not start feeding too early

With those three things, most strains are forgiving.. most "hardy" strains are hardy under certain conditions.. for example, I grew Frost Dragons in some extremely cold root zone temperatures and they flourished really well. One of the hardier strains I've grown in that environment.. I've grown AKR in 100-107 degree temps with good results.. very forgiving in the heat.

I'd put more faith in my ability to grow and continue to learn and don't look for a hardy strain but look to hone your skills and follow all the advice given.. :2cents:

Thanks for the advice Wg . I've just read up about frost dragons and they ARE going in my second grow if I can get the seeds. I've just got my feet wet with (Auto seeds) Auto#1 she's quite branchy but her buds aren't swelling up much at all since the start of flowering two-three weeks ago (my fault though, only got a 7-7-7 fert and need a blooming fert with just p and k). I understand what you mean, I was going to get myself used to a easy strain then move on to bigger better strains, I'm looking for two other strains (apart from Frost dragons) a very fast finishing indica (50-65days seed to harvest) and a as close to 100% sativa.. both auto's, any recommendations? Peace and Big Buds be with you

Magic Dragons
Grew these out in my greenhouse last summer under flood conditions, cold evening temps, watered once a fortnight as the pots never dried out, hardly used any ferts and still got a nice stash of the best smoke I've had to date.

The Dragons have around 15-18 generations of outdoor growing.
Very Hardy

My outdoor Temps range from -2 degrees C to 50 degrees C and they survive the lot.
I grow outdoor all year round.

They are Easy plants but are more Afghan/indy dominant rather than the sati you want.

Thanks peeps , I'm going to short-list the dragons and tweak my set-up to suit them perfectly. Has anyone got a specific grow guide for the Dragons or point me in the direction of one? I'm sure I can handle them with a few tips and tricks from the forum but something specifically written on them would be nice and nearly fool proof :bong:.

A very fast finishing indica that's hardy, that I've grown, would be 60Day Wonder (It's actually about a 67 day wonder, maybe 74 days..) it was one of the first auto strains I ever grew and it yielded 1.5oz after getting a cooltube dropped on it and basically breaking (but not snapping!) like 3 branches and the main stalk. After about a week it started to thicken back up then just went into overdrive and packed buds on.

I've never grown an auto Sativa but Think Different is well heralded around.. whether or not it's hardy.. hmm, most growers have great results just following the 3 basic rules!

Any dragon will prove to be hardy just because their lineage is outdoor originally and as Mossy said with some very stressing conditions. There's a guy on here who grew a frost dragon (toke) in <40 degree temps to start it off and now it's up in like the high 90s and his plants are stunning.

I don't think Russian Dragon is available, but as well very hardy strain..
