Harvest & Curing Harvest, turning off the lights

Hello all:

I have two plants ready to harvest (Easy Bud and Quick One form RQS), they have been flushed for a week and I was told to turn off the lights for two day prior harvesting, some of the lower buds are not quite ready (still with transparent trichomes) I read that I could leave them mature a while longer, my question is: should I turn the lights back on to allow them to mature further?

@Orion7373 Welcome to AFNI live in a different camp that does not flush or turn lights off. I harvest at the end of the plant's day. Never fear we have many camps here at AFN and someone who is in your camp will show up soon to share their style with you.

I've done both imo the only benefits of flushing or leeching would be to deplete some of the nitrogen and bring out the autumn colors. As far as darkness I've done it and personally see no real benefit from it, I do however harvest before lights come on. I only flush to bring the medium back to something seedlings will be happy in, if I'm not rerunning the soil I keep feeding till chop. I cut just prior to lights on.
No other plant grown for human consumption is flushed... I can tell no difference in taste or smell or potency, but I imagine flushing may sacrifice a little weight.
