HEAT-TERPINES-POTENCY?

I have a perpetual auto grow. I have plants finishing and plants in veg. My environment has been hitting 83-85f (28-29c)with Co2. Which is great for veg.
I harvested a stem early (about 50/50 clear/cloudy). Dried and jarred. Jarred 2 days ago. When I burp the jar it just smells like a plant very little cannabis smell. Does the smell come with time? Did the heat damage my quality?

Higher temperatures can diminish terpenes to some extent but not really at the growing temperatures you are describing. More important is the drying temp/humidity. You want that to be 70°F/50%. More than likely the terpenes did not form to begin with. Nutrients and light play an important role in the terp profile during growth.

This girl is beautiful. smells great in the tent. Bud smells great on the plant.

Harvesting too early may be part of it and it should improve in the cure after two weeks or so. Be sure to burp you jars oftern as oxygen is needed in the cure process. I have added 2 - AgroMax UVA Plus 10,000K t5 48" flourecent lights to my grow and the terpene profile is much much better now. You can see the lights hanging in the space. As for the nutrients sulfur is important in Terp production but usually there is plenty in your nutes.

Also is this trimmed well or do I need to get in there more?

My girlfriend just came over ant took 4 small hits off of the dried not cured bud. And yes I am about 65-70° and 55-60% RH. She was reading something to me and stopped and reported that she was too stoned to read. Also she said it hit really fast. This is Tangerine Dream Auto.
Also is this trimmed well or do I need to get in there more?

I have 3 levels of trimming. The friends and family trim = almost no trimming they can trim there own. The rosin trim where I leave all of the sugar leaf. The third I call the dispensary trim. I only do that for pictures. You look to be close to a dispensary trim.

"trimmed well" is all a matter of perspective...or sumtimez, simply a matter of ocd but, i digress... in the end, it all getz ground up & stuck in a bowl anyway, so... :smoking: ppp
