Has any one had any experiance with high heat causing alot of males.

out of 16 plants 10 maled out.. never that bad a ratio. think it was the heat planted last week of aug under floro for 1st two weeks temps around 82 then hps temps under light got to 91. they grew good but then....

you know I was a passionate regular seed guy but after this Im going fem. I can breed with colloidal silver or giberilic . Tired of the best and biggest turning male.

when i was a newbie. only photo.. regular seeds... organic fert.. feed soil not plants. auto and fem seed are a abomination !

three years later: auto only now fem seeds only.. synthetic ferts only. I just got more incorrect by the year

Yes it's true I believe, around 72* is supposed to give you the most females.

before i started making fems i found i always got more females in the winter months

It's that survival mode genetic programming. If its hot or the soil is too harsh the plant figures out it can't make fully developed buds to grow seeds- so it does what it can- and makes some pollen.

Hahaha. More and more incorrect- what's next-(gasp) topping??? Hahaha no - not pruning and defoliating!!!
