New Grower Heat

We keep the house cool in the winter, 65-68F.

I have a 2x4 grow tent, and a friend is giving me his used 600 watt HPS light
and magnetic ballast. I want to keep the tent in the 70s, but I am worried if
I used a closed and vented light fixture, it will be too cold.

Do you think I could use a plain light reflector, or would that create too much heat?

Test run is a great idea ,:smokebuds: and i have found with my 600 watter my temp go up about 10 degree...and thats with it air cooled

I am a couple weeks into veg. Just broke out a circulation fan. Should I run it during
the dark phase as well as during the 20hr 'day'?

your in the same boat I am what we have to be thinking about is summer time (yes its along ways away) but you will HAVE to pull as much heat out of your tent as you can. my room is 71 right now but in the summer time if I ran this same set up it would be in the high 80s
