- Mephisto genetics sour hound, sour bubbly and Heisenberg special
What's up everybody, I'm new to AFN and I just wanted to share my journey that I'm about to go on with you. I have purchased some Heisenberg Special and Skylar White by Mephisto Genetics from Seedsherenow.com. The grow that I will be doing for the the next year is going to only be seeds by Mephisto genetics. As I have begun this grow I have purchased more seeds. I have on the way a 7pk of 24 Carat and a 7pk of 3 bears OG.
All my seeds are from seedsherenow.com. Big shout out to this company for always delivering really really fast and always being reliable. I have never had a bad experience from then at all. And their customer service/support is damn good. They are based in the U.S and have a good pick of breeders.
My scheduling for these plants are going to be pretty basic as I'm not going to deviate from the Mephisto Genetics grow guid. I will be using a 400w MH and then a added eBay 1000w led full spectrum grow light around day 40 or so. My choice of medium is fox farm ocean potting soil. All plants through my grows will be 3gal pots either round or fabric, but for this grow all plants are in round pots. Calmag may be used if needed.
For this grow:
(2) Heisenberg Special's and (2) Skylar White's
I grabbed 2 Seeds from each pack and grabbed (2) shot glasses with warm but not hot tap water. I dropped in the seeds into their labeled shot glasses and were left to sit until the seeds had sank, or my medium had finished with its flush. After the flush of medium, all seeds had sunk in the water, and were immediately planted into their labeled pots. From planting into medium, all plants were sprayed with 15ml of tap water and placed under a 400w MH light set to 50% at 36in from the top of the soil. This was repeated for all 4 plants until day 4.
Heisenberg special hs1 on day 3 around 11am had sprouted and reveled itself from under the soil. Plant is slouched over at 45 degree's, still has seed shell and membrane attached. Height from soil is 1/2in. Pale at the base but violet almost purplish near the top. Sprayed with 15ml tap water. Rotated to the majority of the showing plant is toward the light.
Heisenberg special hs2 on day 3 around 11am had sprouted and revealed itself from under the soil. Plant is slouched over at around 65ish degree's, still has seed shell and membrane attached. Height from soil is 1/4in. Pale throughout the stem from bottom to top. Sprayed with 15ml tap water. Rotated so the majority of the plant is facing light.
Skylar White sk1 on day 3 around 11am had sprouted and revealed itself from under the soil. Plant is slouched near a 45 degree's, still has seed shell and membrane attached. Height from soil is 1/4in. Pale at the base of stem with bits of pink and violet near the top. Sprayed with 15ml tap water. Rotated so the majority of the plant is facing light.
Skylar White sk2 on day 3 around 11am had sprouted and revealed itself from under the soil. Plant is almost straight but with a slight but expected curve in the stem. Plant is pale only near the base and is pink and violet throughout the rest of the stem to the top. Plant so far is the healthiest of the 4. Sprayed with 15ml tap water. Rotated the plant so the majority of the plant is facing light.
The Humidity has been at 54%-58% from the entire start. The temp has been between 75-81F.
I will be updating pictures and day to day progress of all plants through the grow. Not only do I want to help identify characteristics and habits of specifics strains, but my main foil is for the data. Data is valuable beyond compression as we can learn what environments and techniques work and which don't. Whether I do the best job in the world or I just do mediocre, this data will be helpful to someone. And if there is 1 thing I learned growing up from T.V its that knowledge is power and knowing is half the battle. G.I JOE!!!. But that's what's planned for me for a good while. I hope to either gain help or to have helped someone in some way when this is done. But until then, be excellent to each other and...... Party on dudes!!!!!!!
