Excited to be getting a grow on again. Gonna read up a bit first while I buy supplies.

welcome back pal :pass:
cobs and cob kits a lot depends on what side of the pond you on,a big section with way more info than i can handle, knock yourself out.
good luck n keep er lit.
:pighug:
I'm in the canary islands so have my eye on the TGL STAR 100 From todo grow led here in spain. As It's a tax haven here I get it for a good price too!! These LED lights have come on bounds since 2016 eh!!! I cant believe what I've missed out on!!
The Autocob from bigsm0 are great lights. I got several.
I was looking at them earlier but shipping and import taxes are a pain with getting them from the US. I'd like to support a fellow AFN member but it's just not cost effective for me.

I just read @MedGrower diary on his 200W COB test and OMFG what a beast!!!

I understand about the import taxes, makes it tough. I dont have enough knowledge to give an opinion on that light. Cobs have come a very long way, still plenty of bad ones but a lot of very good ones now as well.

I saw another member (I forget who.... stoner memory eh lol) recommend it and it looks the same as the ones from the US. I'd love to make my own but it's actually cheaper to buy a pretty built one than buy all the parts and have them shipped here!!

I cant wait to use one though.

They are nice to grow with! Something about them makes plants really need ca/mg supplements is the only early piece of advice I can give you.

I plan on using tomato soil and feed as it's got higher cal/mag in it and I like to keep it real simple. I'll use dolomite and Epsom next time if needed though. Might get some cal/mag+ actually now you've said that. Better to have it and not need it then the alternative eh

It doesn't hurt to be prepared! Sounds like you have a good plan
