Welcome to AFN...... you'll do fine... as it will be your first run my advice is to look around and find someone who grows quality plants consistantly and emulate them in the beginning. Then once you get it rolling and have the hang of things then make it your own ... anyway best of luck and toodleloo...

I don't have any experience growing canna. I've grown pepper plants over the last few years with success. I figured I can give this a shot and hopefully do well also.

These grow much faster then pepper plants, I remember growing bell peppers that seem to not budge at all until flowering started, then it was peppers goloar lol

Its simple bro, it's just seeds and dirrt.

If this is your first canna experience then I will say this.

* You don't grow plants, they grow themselves. Your job is to provide the optimal environment. The rest will sort itself out naturally.
* patients is GOLDEN. be in no hurry brother. Paattiieenncceee..... is a must.
* last piece of advice (for now) Start a log and update it frequently. We will walk you threw the entire grow and we will get any issues sorted out for you in a timely manner.

Oh an more thing. Don't freak out when you see a yellowing leaf. Plants can't talk, so they communicate with there fan leaves lol if that makes sence. The plant will tell you EXACTLY what's wrong with her everytime.
