My first post should of been the introduction. If its okay I'd like to get back to that later.

I have a plant that's part of my first grow. She is constantly wilting, at first I thought it was underwatered then after feeding just plain water she continued to wilt. I water her when the first inch gets dry and usually feed her just under a litre. I thought that i could be over watering her but I'm sure I'm not. Yet she is constantly wilting.

Is there anything that can cause the wilting other than over and underwatering.

Can you post a picture or 2 in natural light mate?

Please fill in this form: (copy and paste part is below, this first one tell what specifically to include)

-Problem: (brief description)
-Medium/grow method: soil; soilless-- coco, or peat based like Promix, etc. (please provide the actual product name); DWC, NFT, etc.
-Feed and supplements used: include brand, dosage/strength, frequency of feeding and watering (alone); method-- by hand, drippers, rercirc' or drain-to-waste,... N-P-K #'s too if you can!
-Water source: RO/DI; tap- dechlorinated-?..... EC or TDS reading; pH (don't bother with this on RO/DI, do bother with TDS/EC though to confirm it's working well enough)
-Strain and age
-Climate: night and day ambient T and RH%; res' temperatures; any extremes in T/RH% exposure
- Light used: HID, LED, COB, combo of,... wattage; light cycle hours (20/4, 18/6 , etc.); distance to tops....
-Additional info: How long have the plants been affected?...How fast did symptoms appear?... Anything else you think might be relevant..

--Pictures including WHOLE PLANT PICS, and troubled leaves.. use normal light or flash as other light sources ruin color rendering, critical for diagnostics!

Thank you for the swift replies.

Problem: continous wilting

Medium/grow method: soil B&Q verve + Perlite 70/30

Feed: and supplements used: Tomorite 4ml per 2 litre.

water source:
Deeside mineral water from tesco. Because of first grow no pH testing method available.

Strain/age: pyramid seeds auto white widow day 54

light used: 600w hps dual spec. 24/0

Climate: Garden shed. Diy grow space 80 x 80 x 160. Unknown RH Although I'd suggest a low humidity. Temperature 25 - 28 degree's

Additional info:

I have 2 other plants at the same stage. Another white widow of the same vendor and a jack herer auto . Both white widow's are showing the same symptoms. Although one is continously wilting more than the other. Been this way since preflower about 2 weeks ago. Im thinking it's something to do with the white widow's genetics because the jack herer is looking very happy.

Other info:

Experimental grow.. lack of funds meant I couldn't afford additional equipment.

How much are you watering @ a time? And how often?
I forgot to mention the pots are 7 litre...

To start off with 500ml, now about 800ml and as soon as the pots get lighter and the soil is dry to the first knuckle down. It's working out like every 2-3 days.

So half a liter every 2-3 days? In a seven liter pot...
When I'm in soil I think I'm about the same, 15L pots 1 gal per pot every 2-3 days.

Honestly, over water would have been my first thought...

But I would hazard a guess here that your seeing a pH drift in the soil... locking out certain nutrient uptake...

If this was my tent, I'd want a pH test of the soil, in the root zone. Small medium bags can be more problematic in holding a correct pH. Whether from nute buildup and a salt lockout, or peat breakdown... soil pH isn't something that remains consistent without attention. It fluctuates as nutes go in out.

Once soil pH is established, flushing and or amending can correct.

All speculation without the [HASHTAG]#s[/HASHTAG].

Yea I don't really go by a feed every 2 to 3 days but it's about that.. I just go by the weight of the pot and by how dry the soil is.

I'd like to invest in a pH test kit but I'm ultra skint.

One thing that i think of is how the pyramid auto white widow's are registered as a can do outdoor strain. Might the temperature inside my enclosure be too warm for them. When I compare my auto jack herer to the widow's that's been under the same feeding pattern an schedule. I can get my head around this. Why is the jh fine but not the widow.

I'd have thought overwatered too. But I sincerely believe its not that. Even when the soil drys out and I administer a feed the widow never perks up. Underwatering would be more likely but again I pay strict attention to their needs..

I wonder too if I flushed wouldn't that constitute as overeatering.
