New Grower Hello need some help bit of confusion here new timer

I like my old three watt lights also. They have ( and still do ) served me well. I may in the future gut them and use the housing for a COB chip. one Cree CXB 3590 puts out 10 times the PAR as all those three watt chips combined, and that's with it driven to less than 50% power!

I wanted to do a cob build , but when I priced everything I just don't have the capital @ the moment ;-)

what is cob ? and where do u get it maybe i might be over kill getting more lights i have one getting to the location by the end of next week so i will have 2 of them for the grow but the more the better rite with the lights at least for now i should be ok 2 led lights should be enough for 6 plants in the box i have to grow i think i should be ok my nutriments should be on its way as well around the time the light comes and the soil like i said if anyone has any ideas or comment son the fox farm side of things let me know if u read through my older post i have got the dirty dozen box i think its called and a go box as well soil is fox farm as well
if cob is good to or better in a sense send me links brother and sisters i would like to see how they are now

with led lights would it be smart to hang one up side down not right side up meaning normally u would hang it as is but lets say i got another one and wanted light to penetrate the bottom half of the plants as well i heard of halos around the pots but someone before told me there no good they don't put enough light out etc and there cheap so wounding make no use

also is there anyway you guys can send me a link to growing bud like the temps its been awhile so i forgot a lot but temps hummity and so forth I'm thinking with the box i have i will be trying to get a hemostat were i can control the temps and humidity at the same time and if it gets lower high etc it will cut on at the same time to counter each other etc

COB (Chips on Board) , is a new technology of LED packaging for LED light engine. Multi LED chips are packaged together as one lighting module. When it light up, it looks like a lighting panel.
COB LEDs are the newest generation of LED available to the public. A single COB can produce as much as 11,000 lumens ( don't remeber the PPFD off the top of my head, but you can find the formula ) With some minor DIY skills you can build a COB based light that will STOMP any cheap led growlight. Rollitup has the best DIY forum for LED information, its where I've been learning. check it out. I'd rather not post links to other forums...

But here's a large scale DIY LED grow op that will blow your mind! Mind you, to light a 4x4 space is not cheap, but when you see someone grow 500+ grams from a 284 watt light, you can see for yourself its worth the time and money!

thank u and ok i understand a bit more yeah i been on al;l the other forums but it just seems this is the best one and also its just for autos witch is the best and faster responses sometimes i don't get answers to questions can u also help with temps and humidity or maybe there is a link here i will be looking rite now I'm looking at full duplex and his grow how he's pulling weight with a small grow witch is impeccable i like it and he is friendly with the words for noobs that just started growing I'm on page 11 lol


this new light for less its really taking off about 2 years ago i heard people saying fuck led no use lol and i was one of the first one in a old groups idk if anyone has heard of the dude name god body but he was a good mentor when growing funny dude he used the space ship looking less and said the same thing they put in the more expsenive ones is the same in the cheap ones same chines people making em just different label and he had some decent plants i decided to go all led because i just think in all its a no brainer i have had hps lights and its a big hassle temps etc

and as stated before money won't be a issue so if i can get a nice led set up for cob shyt ill do it idk if anyone has seen but i will be around monday posting just the grow box it self so people can get a better ideal on what the hell it is I'm talking about and the dimensions
