Light came in today and I can't be more pleased with it. Built sturdy fast shipping and not to mention its bright as hell. I'll take it thanks Mars Hydro. While I'm here I got to wondering how safe is it for me to be on this site? I live in a non weed friendly state so I can't slip up.

TO AFN BRO Thanks pyrokev. Just an update for anyone who would like to know as of now I have the mars2 400w light, the mars hydro 2'3x2'3x5'3 tent, the GO box for nutes, and some stone dragons on the way from the portal. I also have a ph meter on the way as well so I'll get the pots and soil from the local hydro shop when my seeds get here so I think I'll have what I need to get this thing going. Feel free to let me know if I'm missing anything.

my friend you got the ultimate light for a 2x2x5 secret garden like the one im using.
your 400w will milk every inch of that 2x2.
im running main 240w + secondary 180w for complete coverage when needed and would love nothing more than swapping my 2 lights to a 400w like yours.

If you want red and purples, take Traps advice and get some Sweet Seeds Red Family. They are kick ass. I have grown three and like them all. They are pretty, unusual to look at, and damn good smoke.
I didn't see any mention of a circulating fan or I may have missed it. For me, that is super important. Jorge Cervantes made it really plain for me : The plants takes up CO2 through the leaves and uses up the available CO2 very quickly. Therefore you need to keep the air circulating to keep replenishing that CO2 around the leaves. They will be needed also to keep mold at bay, etc when your plants get buds on them and tight in the tent.
