Hello AFN! I am new to th site, but old to growing... mostly vegetables and that sort of thing... but I also am canna friendly... I thought I would come check the site out and say hello! It seems like a nice friendly community and I thought I'd get my feet wet... (or muddy?)

Welcome @The Farmacy Seeds Network!

MOB still lives on in Fem Seed form from a couple of us strain preservationists, along with many MOB crosses. Fantastic strain in its pure form and an amazing breeding tool. The blueberry terps carry over into everything she is crossed with. The fellow that originally made S1 seeds from MOB clones used to be a member here, he then passed the S1s on to Highrise seeds, who is now out of the seed selling game. He passed along some S1s to myself and another former member here to reproduce.

Continue to enjoy your MOB and your time here at AFN. Sounds like you will be a great asset for the members here.

P.S. Also very sorry to hear about your loss of your furry family members. I lost my little female dog of 15 years six months ago, i still miss her terribly. We still have her brother though, who is still doing quite well physically. He still grieves for her everyday.

Peace,
Stick

Hello chum,

Thanks for the background on the MOB strains... good info... I will definitely keep enjoying it... at least until it's gone.
I'm sorry for your loss of your dog... My one cats was VERY depressed after the other died... I think it was part of why he died later on... :bighug:

Thanks for the approval Mossy!

Thanks EP!!!

Thanks! Well, sustainable isn't enough IMHO.. With our farming systems as broke as they are, we need regenerative farming... so that's what I do... rebuild soils and biology to put farms back online with productivity... as well as MUCH higher quality food. "Let plants be thy medicine" is the basic theory. If / when I get permission... I'll share my youtube channel and you'll have a better understanding. I do more than just nutrition though... My goal is to make farms more self-reliant... from water pumping, to technology, to nutrition and much more. I hope I've answered your question?
Currently, I'm filming a course on how to use Raspberry Pi's

to monitor remote greenhouses and control them in a self-contained system (not dependent on Internet companies and hosting services). Of course, this could be adapted to grow rooms, cabins, barns... or anything else you wanna do really... The sky is the limit!

I have done both aquaponics and aeroponics in the past... built my own systems for those too.. have a video on my channel of that as well.
Organic is the BARE MINIMUM... IMHO .... I'm sure we'll have lots to talk about on this tho.. :)

Welcome Farmer!

I also grow organic fruits and vegetables outdoors here in central California (40+ years with live soil) and indoors cannabis hydroponically. I have had an Arduino manage my grow room for a couple of years now Lights, Fans, Co2 etc.

OK... I have posted a few in "organic Discussion"... Hope thats an ok place.

Arduino eh? That's one I plant to learn soon... wanna make all controls run through Arduino so that it's not dependent on the Pi and it's OS... then let the pi handle the web-server, database and interface.
