hello, i got a bit of problem here. On my attic grow I at first noticed a few buggs, so I thoughts as long as there are a few its okay, in time i'll eliminate them. Now theres like 20+ of thoes ugly stinky buggs here. you now thoes buggs when you step on it the start to stink like hell. I dont know how these are called in english but i'll add a picture of it. I got some ideas what to do but I'm realy open to advice on how to eliminate them without hurting the plants.
Seems i'll need to close up the growing part of attic into a seperate room if the bug problem's gonna persist. peace

Hey Shax. We get those lil stinky bastards at my house too. LOL. I havent had any problems with them inside my stealth grow cab though. Just seems like they pop out of no where though occasionally when its warm outside. Not sure how to get them out of your area. When I see one I just pick it up with toliet paper and flush them in toliet. LOL

I did a Google search and came up with a ton of info... Some stuff gets applied to the surrounding area others directly on the plant. Synthetic Pyrethroids are particularly effective against these pests because they rapidly effect the insect and paralyze their nervous system.. The most common application method of this compound is spraying it in a liquid form around your home or where you have noticed the insects. peace

1. Seal off all vents, cracks in windows, and ceiling light fixtures(since they like attics). They can even compact their bodies to fit through tight spaces.

2.Track down all existing bugs in your grow room and kill them- but don't squish them. It will only release their scent. I like to catch them and flush them down the toilet. Also, make sure to check areas such as dark curtains around air conditioners because 90% of the time I have found them to hide there in clusters.

3.Spray plants with Neem Oil solution- Neem Oil concentrate +a couple of drops plain blue Dial Soap+H2O. The Neem Oil can block insect's breathing holes and suffocate them or interfere with fatty acid metabolism and poison them. Make sure to spray tops and bottoms of leaves ESPECIALLY the CANOPY because thats where they did most of their damage.

Just found that info on another cannabis site bro.. Hope it all helps :Sharing One:

IT helps bro thanks. you did quiet a job there. So tommorow im going to eliminate every single bug i find. There are a few ladybugs too, which I will leave since they are harmfull. But thoes stinky things drink plant juice which I dont like ven a lil since my babys are still so small! I will try to spray them, got a few things at home that should do the work I hope.
I read thoes buggs came from Africa. Damn!
Sealing the place seems to be unavoidable at the moment.

Yeah im not sure where they come from. All i know is if smooshed they smell like rotten POOP!!! LOL. Let the lady bugs stay. They are good to have bro. They will eat spider mites and dust mites if you ever get them on your plants. Lady bugs are awesome to have in your grow. They are like lil silent warriors protecting your plants.

I also read that a woman had them in her attic while growing, and she got an old broom stick and put a huge chunk of duct tape on it at the end with sticky side out and went around and lightly picked all the stink bugs up with it and took it outside and lit the tape wod on fire!! LMAO

Yeah ladybugs are awesome, when you're growing on attic they are even more awesome becouse theres alot of spiders. Only things im scared of now is that thoes stinkers keep charging my light. One even made it to die on the light and he is still there probably half ashes, so I just wanted to ask if this is dangerous for light? Im going to clean it once i get it cool.

Haha man thats some good idea, maybe im gonna do that too! they are pissing me off, charging into me so I cant even take a proper look at my babys :d gonna burn em all :D peace

LOL. Yeah id get them out ASAP bro. Even the dead ones stinky ashes might attract more to come for revenge!!! Burn em all up on a stickkkkkk ASAP!!! FIRE FIRE FIREEE!!!:fire: LOL

Attic war is about to begin tommorow :D For now i'll just pick em up and flush em down the toilet. I'll try to spray my plants with some badass nutrient/protection :D First we used that to spray our trees, they started to grow 3x-4x faster then before. When I used that last year on my babys, they EXPLODED :D And since it gives protection aswelll i'll spray my babys and hope for the best :)

The place is done. Just gotta mke a seperate room now.
There must be a hidden factory of thoes stinks somewhere! At the morning I took out like 10+ of these out! So I went to check in the evening again and guess what, again i got like 15-20 stinks. Also I noticed there are some baby stinks.
Well it went from worse to worst. Next thing on to do list is to seal the place up. Take out all the stinks and keep all the ladybugs! I will post some pics of them in my grow journal tomorrow.
I also plan to buy some bio insecticids, take ladybuggs out and kill all them stinks.

:jaw: this is a first I've ever heard of these pests..... Are they attracted specifically to cannabis plants? As much as my health depends on my grow I think those would make me close shop up for a while... Which I may soon have to do myself due to white powdery mold... Don't know which one grosses me out more.... :karma Cloud: that your execute your revenge on those bastards!
:stylez rasta smoke:

I'd recommend Azamax or Azasol.
I use Azamax every 10-14 days as preventive maintenance.
No bug issues.
