I'm midway through week 5 of La Diva. Please see link for full grow specs in journal. Photo shows object in question well, I just need someone who has experienced this to positively ID what I've got goin' on here, please.
I dunno if they are balls, beginning of nanners, strange side bud or just regular old plant parts.

If it is a male part on my autofem plant here, can I, should I use the pollen? I've been wanting to do some breeding for seed but I am worried this is not the way to go about it. It sounds dubious to perpetuate the hermie gene, if that is in fact what I have here. There was no stress I can think of, temp steady, light regular times, I have been feeding it but have not seen evidence of burning since I 1st transplanted it to new soil. Then never again.

Kind of had to tell but I don't think its a male.Does it have any pistols yet?

Sorry Namvet I just saw your question, yes she has pistils and has for sometime. I know the whole plant is female. Just curious if this thing I found is going to drop pollen in some manner. Via either balls or nanners. There are several of these over the whole plant. How normal is it for an autofem to present male sex organs?

Looks like a swolen calyx from the Preflowers at the Stem. Nothing to worry about.

Waximus, please forgive my naivety, wtf is a "hairy budbunkle"?! I will post pics of these at other sites on the plant but they are mostly at right angles to the node. So ya'll do not believe these will drop any pollen huh?

It was a play on the word carbunkle, a hairy skin bump. lolol
Just do NOT google images of hairy carbunkle... Whoa!
My first couple of auto White Widows had those same bumps, right at the fan leaf/stem junctions.. They stayed the same until a week before harvest, and then they opened like a calyx, just didn't have anything in them- no pistols, no pollen..

No kiddin' huh. Man these plants never cease to amaze. Thanks much for your knowledge. I'm kinda bummed, I was looking forward to having some pollen to do some breeding. Ah well from what I've gathered one doesn't want to breed with hermied pollen anyway. I took some more pics that I will post up in a few. THANKS everyone for taking a look. If only healthcare for humans was so easy and available huh? Got a bump on my balls e'rbody take a look for me! Ya maybe not...
