MyDamascus earth and Neem oil treatment worked no more mites, I still have someflying bugs but I can get them with fly strips. Thanks to everyone on here forall the advice and help, I willwill try a few other things in the future that everyonehas suggested too. So far Neem mixed with dawn dish soap and Damascus earth on topafter surface has dried worked for me.

Dam mites are back :( I spoke to soon...

I have never had an issue with spider mites but i was reading rosebud mag yesterday and seen this product called Thanatons
http://www.waterworkshydroponics.com/ can be found here.

I would google search the product for reviews and even video reviews before purchasing.

Good luck

I use "no pest strips" when I get mites every yr in my shed grow.
Stick the plants in a small sealed area with a no pest strip with "dichlorvos "
A few weeks an mites are toast.
Even kills the eggs!

They always work for me.
But they are toxic use as directed....

How "toxic" if left in my grow tent with ventilation off and my door closed, will it be toxic in living room which isn't to far away (very small house aprox 1,000sqf)
Reason I'm so AFRAID of the strips is because of my birds (a grey and a conure) I'm afraid of that strip killing them...
Though, on another note my first grow back in the day (photos, autos weren't invented yet) I had gnats, mites etc... No birds though at that time... Hung that strip in the room and in about two weeks all them bastards were gone! It was like the pest apocalypse...
Live any info on toxic question with birds in same house... Cause I always felt more comfortable with a pest strip in my grow room ;)

They use dioclorvis in dog flea collars so it its not super deadly.

Basicly they say don't say in the rm for more than 4 hrs a day and dont have em where you cook a you'll be fine.
They are like 10 $ from my hardware store..

Well I am a few days from harvest so not enough time to bother with it. My next grow I have had Miskito dunks and DE on top for the last few weeks in the pots to sanitize the soil before hand and have watered with a little blackstrap to help the microbes so new soil is ready to go. Going to do a killer cleaning job of the grow area after harvest and stay on top of this next time. I think if I would have followed up on another neem and dish soap treatment I might have had better results but after I seen they were all wiped out I quit and the egg’s survived. I might have went a little light on the neem also and the dish soap might have worked more cuz I only used 1 oz. in a gallon of water when I neemed.
