Planted 2 seeds in Fox Farm Ocean Forest. Blue diesel and Cheese. how ever i forgot to label the plants.
Seed Number 1 sprouted on 9/23/13..
Seed number 2 sprouted on 9/25/13..
No nutrients has been added, however i do have fox farm nutrients on deck.. I have been told that u dont use nutrs till week 6. because the FFOF soil does not need it.
I have just been using tap water to water plants. Will be switching to PH water soon, once i can locate it, or distilled water.
light source: 2 CFL Bulbs 2700k. one Bulb per plant.
Location: attic adequate air flow.
Seed Number 1 has no problems. No browning or yellow tips
Seed number 2. notice yellowing on the tips on 10/7/13. now this morning 10/8/13.. the spots look brown to me
SEED 1, NO PROBLEMS. SPROUTED ON 9/23/13

Looks like nutrient burn bro, FF OF is hot soil. You can try to flush it and get some of the excess nutrients out of the soil.

You aren't going to find ph'd water, you are going to have to purchase a ph meter and set the ph in the water yourself.
