I dont think its heat stress the light is like 6 inches away i think its maybe poor air circulation tbh :-( not an awful lot i can do about it atm tho lol il have to get through this then buy a tent ;-) thanks again for the help guys much appreciated 
Not sure what your setup is, but a regular cheap fan would help with air circulation. I'm on a bare bones budget grow, so that's what I use (with the closet cracked a few inches for ventilation) - not ideal but it works.
Thanks tremane thats pretty much what im doing lol got a fan on a low setting blowing gently past them. My ph isnt brilliant tho its going in at 7.3 :-/ but on the plus side my run off is at 6.6 so the soils doing its job atm! :clap: lol gotta get some ph- when i get chance

Don't know if I'm 2 late for this but I have a 250w cfl and both my current grow and the grow before had this issue I put it down to the light intensity as the problem disappears after week 3..if you think of the amount of light penetrating those little leaves heck I have to squint to look at the bulb once they get stronger they'll be able to handle the light better... Oh with ph Im just like you haven't had the chance to get to the grow shop one or 2 drips of lemon juice will bring your ph down dude... Healthy green karma sent your way dudette
