New Grower HELP, Rusty spots and pale yellow new growth.

Good job! Once it hits 6.5 I'd drop the feeds back to 7. It will likely drop the run off down a bit. Once it come back up to 6.5 again, then feed 6.5 in. By then it should be about balanced.

Well were at the magic number now. :) Thanks for your help muddy. +rep

I will check the feed ph next time I water, its not something I have done last few weeks and will then check the runoff, if the ph has continued to rise is there a way to work out what the ideal Ph to adjust the feed to - too keep the soil at 6.5 or should i just forget ph`ing anything and just continue to water from now on and let the lime do the work.

Edit} did not see the above post, So as its at 6.5 now I should adjust it to 7 for the next feed?

Hi Muddy,

I have been feeding with everything ph`ed at 7 and the runoff is coming out every time now at 6.5

Is the aim to keep lowering the feed ph down every time the runoff reads 6.5 till the point the feed is being ph`ed at 6.5? or is just the runoff being at 6.5 okay? Would it ever get to 6.5 in 6.5 out?

The plant is doing fine, this is just for future reference and a bit of learning.
