Hey Guys,

I have just bought some Autopots after watching many of the threads on here and been impressed!
Except I have bought the Australian version as I thought and was told the only difference was that these have circular pots. But after reading a few Australian forums I've found out they dont seem to be able to grow Cannabis with them. Someone mentioned they let in to much water. Well I set mine up today and I think they might be right with no pots in there there seems to be a good 2.5 Cm (1 Inch) of water in the trays.

Are your guys Autopots like this?

They do sell a product of a foam and cloth spacer that can go under the pots that is suppose to help with plants that dont like wet feet so I'm guessing I'm going to have to get these as well.

Any information and advice will be appreciated.

Cheers.

Any pictures? Sounds like the 25 liter XL system.

I know folks that grow monsters in these things, so not sure what forum you are reading but I think I would stick around here. Also around the valve you will have almost an inch of water and with the pots setup the way they recommend you will not have water logged roots.

I suggest you take a look at @briman threads as they have grown some nice looking bud in them.
briman goes Tangiematic in the XL System

Its not the XL it's still a 15L pot, but thanks for the reply makes me feel better knowing that's not too much water.
And yea I'm really enjoying this forum been watching the Autopot sections for months now.

Sorry this link will be better.

It still is a smart valve and as far I as can tell works the exact same way looks a little different though.
Guess I'll just give them a go.
Kicking myself though because I could have just bought the UK ones and not worried at all.
Ok better to see them with that link. For the first 20 days you'll be hand watering as needed, then you'll fill the reservoir and will be running off the reservoir from day 20 on probably just like Autopots.

I think I heard this story once before. Something about this Jim Fah, he claims to be the inventor of the “GENUINE Autopot Systems invented by Jim Fah“ as he calls it on his Facebook page. Can’t remember the details but I guess there was a falling out somewhere along the line and the company split
