Lighting Help with Light size

Didn't mean to post that last one I typed that when there was no responses and after I posted the other peoples post showed up. I will be getting a 600 watt light I bought a reflector so now waiting on ballast and bulb will have to do some shopping around so I can find the best price doesn't matter to me if its a digital or magnetic ballast. Thanks for the help

I got my 600 watt MH complete light kit for $139.88 on ebay. That was bulb, ballast, and basic "wing" type hood. You'll pay almost that for just a ballast alone. Don't waste you money on a magnetic ballast, they are dinosaurs, and won't even be sold new much longer, and they are not cheaper than an electronic ballast either.

I really can't see you getting a ballast and MH bulb for less than this. Like pop says don't waste your money on a magnetic ballast.

What's the issue with magnetic ballasts?? Recently purchased one of these f my own grow.
