Hi im in need of some help ... I recently germinated some seeds and once they had tails i planted them in 3l pots of soil under a 600 watt hps after a couple days i checked the seeds and they had dried up like twigs... what did i do wrong? nd what could i do right?

What more than likely happened was the soil dried up and there wasn't enough moisture so the seedlings dried up as well.. it happens sometimes.
Germination is an easy thing to do but it's also easy to screw up. What I'd do in the future is use a lesser powered light to sprout the seedlings and keep a clear plastic cup over where you plant the seeds and spritz it once a day. Seedlings love humidity and temps of about 78-83. Once they sprout above soil remove the clear plastic cups. If you have to use the 600W HPS, keep it at least 36-40" from the top of the containers.

Seedlings don't have much for roots, so they can't absorb much water.
Put them in a hot, bright place and it will cook the moisture out of the
plant faster than the plant can replace it.
If the temps are not high, you could shade them, maybe a queen size pair of nylons.
Best to have a light for vegging, you don't need 600 watts.
First week, I use a 32 watt cfl screwed into a desk lamp.

getting seeds to pop (germinate)
i been usen the old but 100% in my years get a plate or larger tuperwhare / cover put down about 2 papertowels drop as may seeds as needed25-20 max me ueally about 3-10 cover with another papertowel@1/2 put more warmer water put cover on coxkeyed put in a cbinet or draw as long as it doesn't get cold check moister every 8hrs keep alittle more than danp somewhat almost wet if u got iit. mine always pop in underin about 24 hrs.defenetly within48hr.if u would like more info hit me up.try this out always works!!!
