Hi Spooky- ...first two pics look like early Mg defc. to me,... the next two--top and bottom, right?- the focus is off, so I can't see details well,... could be Ca defc. spots starting, but the color is not typical... Ca defc. spots are usually a tan/red-ish color,... if you can re-shoot them in better light and focus, that will help a lot! I want to make sure I'm not seeing possible bug damage,... these spots, they go through top to bottom? ***... treatment is easy for Ca-Mg (no coincidence that these are paired together in many supplements),... do you have a Ca-Mg product?

Hey waira thanks for taking the time to help me out unfortunately I chopped the spotted leafs off and burnt them as I was worried that it might spread the spots went all the thou I used lime with calcium in my soil mix but I'm not sure how long that would last . I have some Epsom salts but I'm not to sure on how and how much to use it will the leafs green back up ? Thanks again

I use a tablespoon of epsom salt and another of molasses when I do this

Per gallon. or look up foliar feeding.

......thanks eP, beat me to it! :Sharing One: Spooky, it Magnesium, not Manganese, BTW- LOL!.... missed that earlier,... There's no need to chop anything off, it doesn't spread like that,... what the plant is doing (in the case of all mobile nutrients Mg is, Mn is not...) is pulling it from older, lower growth to help build new growth,... in fact, removing leaves will just make it worse.... The Ca in the soil is slow acting, so it may not be enough to keep up with demand-- IF that was Ca defc. I spotted!... only time will tell now, if new symptoms show up.... epsoms will be fine for Mg, and fast acting (epsoms are MgSO4, no Ca in them).... initial treatment is as eP said: 1T/gal, for one or two rounds, depending on severity-- yours is very mild! As a regular supplement, , reduce to1 tsp/gal... long term heavier use of epsoms can create a salt buid-up issue, so at some point I recommend a dedicated Ca-Mg supp',... Molasses is good stuff too-- it has Ca, Mg, K, even a bit of Fe in there, and the sugar will make the soil microbes happy! use sparingly though,..too much sugar input can be bad as well,... 1-2(bigger plants) times a week max., @ 1T/gal as well.... You can use both, as Wait mentioned, for initial treatment, but I'd save that for more severe cases,....***... Foliar is an excellent way to go for the epsoms and the any Ca-Mg supp,... molasses is more tricky- sugars may invite mold if not done exactly right! For epsoms, use a heavy 1tsp/gal, and get top and bottom of leaves,...a water spreader/ wetting agent will make this waaaay more effective,.. it allows what you spray to coat and stick more evenly, increasing the amount absorbed... Now, a caveat-- plants in bloom,... is yours? ... again, it's a issue for potential mold under the right conditions,... given how minor your case is, I'd skip foliar for now, unless you want to!

Thanks guys should I mix the Epsom in with its feed or just plain water ?
