Hi guys,

I am having quite big issues with my current grow. Growing in a big hempy bucket (10 gal) and using sensi coco grow a/b. Its almost day 80 and girls are just middle of blooming phase. Firstly i tho, i had bad seeds and let it just go. Since the nutes are ph buffered, i never bothered to check ph of runoff. My feeding schedule is like: just sensi a/b max 4 ml/gal - 2 days later some potassium silicate + calmag + molasses + humic fulvic acids + kelp meal ph @6.10

I had always great results with my clones with this schedule, but my autos didnt like it. Anyway, girls are now stopped to grow. Yesterday i checked the runoff and it was around 7,0 ph. Today even 7,45!!

I am having manganase deficiency on leaves now. I tried to flush with phed water but its too big to flush in grow tent and i cant bring it out to bathroom.

I use filtered tap water (no r/o) for benies and compost tea. I think it is not a good idea too, when i flush it now with tap water.

- can i recirculate 10 lt water to bring ph down? Does it make sence?

-shall i just use the force and take her to the bathroom and tapwater her?

-please help

10 gallon hempy?? yikes! @Ash-a-Ton grows hempy like a champ, he might be able to give specific advice. But getting the pH down is more important than flushing, especially if you're banking on all those organics in there for nutrition. My advice is use a foliar spray on leaves to give them direct nutes while you address the soil pH. Options I would consider are dolomite lime, and crushed dried egg or oyster shell tea. hydrated lme is also an option, but caustic in high amounts. I have never tried to do it with pH up water before, and in your case it sounds like a logistics problem anyway.

Ate you feeding all that at full strength?

Hi,

No i wasnt feeding at full strenght. I think organic nutes have builded up some kind of buffer in the media. Btw it is 50/50 coco perlite. Yesterday i flushed it 3 times with 5,8 phed water but result was still 7 ish. I misted her with advanced nutes revive and gave blooming 25% nutes.

I have a bottle of flawless finish. It is a flushing agent. Could it be helpfull? And can i use sensi a/b as foliar spay? Meh never happened this before...

I dont have dolomiti lime, but have insane amount of calmag, epsome salt, bat shite, ewc, etc.

Thx for your help

Hi mates,

I have kinda good news. My ph meter is dead. Lol. Today i flushed it again 3 times and flushed with flawless finish afterwards. Than flushed with filtered water and gave 1/4 strenghted nutes. Runoff is now about 350 ppm. I will mist her with 1/8 nutes later in the night.

I hope, it resolves the issues.

You need to make a real light feed, and buffer it down to around 3

I just needed that kind of spesific info!!

And after that you should be able to buffer your feedings/waterings down to 5.5 I strongly suggest a pH soil probe. I use the accurate 8 and love it, best tool in my gardens!

Hey,

After this run i will stop to use organic stuff in my cabin. And no more hempy bucket. I am crossing my autos atm and will grow in 1 gal pots sog style autos. Lesser yields but faster results. actually i like to grow phenos but i have no seeds anymore. Untill i get some phenos i will grow and breed autos. Meh.
