Grow Mediums hempy question please.

Hello,tried my first hempy grow. Simple question- 2 pics attached.
my bucket is a 1 gallon size maybe 2, when I first started this plant, I didn't realize my ph meter took a shit.
so I damn near killed the seedling. I nursed her back but fiqured I stumped the hell out her. took a good 3 weeks or so to get her going.
Anyway is that why she is so small or is it the size of the bucket. its straight perlite with some rototon to cover the top.
Never grew in perlite or soil, always grow dwc as the last pic shows.
This plant went through hell to get where she is, I believe scince she is an auto, that is why she stayed small, due to a month of nursing,if this would have been dwc,it would have packed my cabinet.
Just wondering if bucket size has anything to do with it?
how big of a plant should I be able to grow in a 1 or 2 gallon bucket under good conditions ?
I would think a good 3 or 4 foot plant,am I wrong?

here is a pic of my dwc grow,one plant that had same problem as the hempy but recovered much quicker in dwc.

That little seedling in the one pic just got put under light this morning, that will go dwc Tuesday after I chop this down Monday.

Your use to getting great results from dwc so this run just seems bad. The Plant is an alright height but its about 1ft/gal when guessing height.

That pot doesn't look like 1-2 more like a 3gal

1 ft a gallon sounds good.
Never grew such a tiny little plant ever.
Might try a hempy again later
But the little seedling is going dwc as soon as i chop the other one.
I'll let this thing go scince i already nursed it for damn near 3 months.
If im lucky i'll get 1/4 oz.
Lesson learned- if you fuck up an auto seedling. Pull it!!!

I started the auto in a coffee filter and it never made it out...

Lol. Well if thats 7 gram then i might get 3!!! Little fuck is frosty though.
It seems to me if you mess up in a hempy, it takes to long to recover the auto, hence the small plant.
That pic of mine of the dwc had the same trouble,both seeds started together.2 different strains though. I'll get 4 to 6 dried oz's off her.
I flushed the hempy daily for 2 weeks to save her.
I flushed once a week in dwc as usual.
Big difference huh.
All because my ph meter took a shit and i didnt catch it for at least a week.
This hempy wasnt worth the elec.

Some strains pull though man

One of the two in the front is straight yellow green and has been from a seed and its growing just as fast as my lovely green color on the other lol. I almost pulled it..

well I've never lost or pulled one yet but all I ever did was dwc, and 12 hours is like night and day.
Hell in my one thread, I tried to stop one.
Don't know when i'll try a hempy again, stealth is highly required and my cabinet will stay dwc.
this hempy was an expirement with my old led lights, was hoping it was done by now. Cant have a plant growing in the open in the house.
