Morning guy's and girl's, I noticed last night that one of my critical kush from Barney's had started throwing nanners on most of the tops. Be it the right or wrong thing to do I just chopped it as I don't have a separate area to put it. As I was breaking it up I noticed one pollen sack about 1/2 way up the main stem that was split open. The Hermie plant looked a little different to the others, the buds were growing in foxtails instead of the usual conical shape. What's the chance's of the rest being polenated from one pollen sack? They all look ok ATM I'm just concerned that may change in the near future.
Also sorry I don't have any pictures of the Hermie plant I really wasn't in the mood for taking pics when I was chopping down my biggest plant over a month early.

I’m a bit of a noob, but I think a few bits of pollen may have escaped and pollinated a few buds. But not whole plants. You won’t know til the end.

Hey, nice growing! I like to keep them heavily defoliated myself, but I’m not convinced I’m not harming them by doing it.

I'm the same, I know I'm probably not helping by removing but I just can't help letting more light through.

Here’s what I’ve been thinking. It’s sunny all day long every day in my tent. There are no cloudy days and no storms or natural predators. There are no other large plants overhanging my girls, blocking them from the light. The drive to get as tall as possible to get a piece of sunlight and form a thousand leaves to soak up any possible rays and ensure survival is not the name of the game anymore. I top my girls because the Christmas tree isn’t necessary — long and flat and wide is. And all those leaves? Surely half are extraneous in my tent. We’ll see how the ladies do on my next couple grows.

@Anonymousgardener420 1 little pollen sack can fill a pramb...:headbang:...keep your fingers crossed he was simply prime and popped in response to the chop.

2 weeks from now...start gently squeezing some of the exposed buds to check for seed...:pass:..Good Luck..

Best way to Test is a side by side grow...:pass:..harvest weight quality decides @davisgirl

IMO if I had a big tomato leaf shading the toms..I'd tuck or remove it...same with the girls..
I'm outdoor..sometimes they need the help...:headbang:

Haha! Thanks for weighing in Mossy, the noobs guiding the noobs and all. What do you think such a side by side comparison would show in an indoor grow? I know you know ...

Good grief Anonymous I hope she’s not all apreggers on you! Do you have a journal?

I've not done a journal on them, hey if they all end up in the extract pile so be it, I'll take is as a lesson learned, stay away from Barney's farm.
