Thanks again for the continued welcome guys, you lot know how to make a guy feel at home:cheers:

@iampepe that creme de la chem sounds dank, keep hearing amazing things about Mephisto Genetics, definately put some on my 'To Run' list. Any that have been really stand out for you bro? Walter white seems to have a good fan base. You have a journal for those SkyStompers and SourLivers? Be interested to hear a grow/smoke report when they are finished!

@MedGrower damn thats a lovely set up you have bro, love the Cobs. Are they a DIY build or purchased ones? What wattage are the northern lights soaking up? Sorry for all the questions, but im definately thinking Cobs are the way to go!!

@archie gemmill everyone seems to be loving the Mephisto strains bro, read a lot of good things about Walter White. DP BBK and Glueberry OG are on the list too, as i love a good dank kush. So many strains, so little time and space lol.

@Gauge Steel just had a little butchers at your current grow, love the set up, and same questions to you as to MedGrower bro... DIY Cobs? Wattage? Really interested to know more about Cobs, keep finding myself in the DIY LED lighting section... lol

Thank you! Those are the first DIY lights I made with Citizen 1212's. I might modify them later to be more modular or I just have a separate driver such as MeanWell HBG-60 series for each cob along with their passive coolers. COB's seem to be really good choise for their efficiency and I am all for that these days. However, I just put out an order for GN's Telos 0008 (Efficiency around 1.9 µmol/joule !!!) and cannot wait to test that beast out! Northern Lights have been getting 100w (dimmed from 200w driver) so far but I am beginning to give them full blast for limited time per day to get them used to intense light. I plan on using the full power this time and see if I burn them or not

Soo.. are you looking up to build your own?

I let @RainDan make one and then I had him ship me a kit. The one he built me was cheaper after I bought everything to build it. I'm not really a tech guy all I know is that I got a 6 chip Cree 50 watt and I built a 2 chip 50 watt Citi that will expand to 4 x 50 watt if want to make it bigger later. My area is dosed with 400 wats of 3500-4000 k
Hope that helps.

aHi Auto tingz. Here's my girls thanks for your advise and pushing me off the photos to my first autogrow 24 days old

@MedGrower yeah those new GN lights look amazing, i mean to be fair the HS1 produced some amazing plants. Very interested to see how you rate the new model, but for what they can produce in a good set up, its seems Cobs are the most cost effective way of going now, but need to read a lot more to understand how they work. Although it does seem, as im UK, that GN are the best plug and play LED you can buy here. So many options, but defo swaying towards Cobs.

@Gauge Steel so your Cobs are geared up for vegging only? As im sure 3500k is blue spectrum? Where would the red spectrum come from? I might have this all wrong, but so much to learn about Cobs, im confusing myself lol.

@arbour danksta there he is!!! This is my sparky collegue who i am trying to convince help me build a COB set up, i managed to convince him to run Autos this time, now trying to persuade him to ditch his HPS and make myself and himself a Cob set up. I think with some peer pressure from you guys, he will have to accept. Welcome to AFN @arbour danksta
