Hey all could do with some help on my new grow please

Anyway i have some ladies in need of assistance, waters 7.7 an runoff is 5.7, was more at 6.3 before my last feed so think i may have mixed up the budget feeds i have one hazy night.
Could this possibly be from overwatering also... I am a newb after all lol

Nah dude, there are no signs of over watering their. Your ph is jacked up bad if you are going in @ 7.7 and runoff is 5.7. That puts your soils somewhere around 3.8. it looks like you are in soil, if so, you need to flush that pot with ph'd water @ 6.8, about 3x the size of the container. So, if that is a 1 gallon container, run 3 gallons of water @ 6.8 and them water with about 1/2 the nutrients needed.

I'm a noob too, but from what I have learned, I would say flush with ph'd water. At least 2-3x the volume of dirt. So if your pot is 1 gallon flush with 3. Let all the water drain through and flush out the soil and hope she pulls through. With a ph that low you are probably getting nutrient lock out, giving more food is counter productive. That's just what I would do from my learnings around here, but again I'm a noob. I'm sure some more experienced growers will chime in.

I'm with a420er. Run a flush and see what happens. With soil at ph 3.8 is way too acidic. After looking at your containers. You may want to scratch in some dolomite lime or transplant them with a proper ph'd soil. One teaspoon of dolomite lime per gallon of soil. This may take some time for your plants to recover.

Run the flush; after that check your ph next watering. That's your best bet. You may need to transplant to better soil.

Thank you guys, I flushed her earlier but didnt run that much water. Shall have to run a full flush ASAP. Could someone please explain how to work out the soil ph an such? An sorry but with these being autos an on week 7, with how they are flowering and the condition, any idea on how much longer?

From my understanding you double the difference between the 2 ph's so in your case the difference is 2, double that is 4, now minus that from your original water ph of 7.7 and your soil is roughly 3.7ph if your ph is going up in your runoff, you add double the difference to your start #.
I would say you have a few more weeks from the pics, just my opinion though. Good luck!:karma Cloud:

Hey, so a formula for obtaining soil ph is (? + feed ph / 2 = runoff ph) with the ? being your soil ph. So for instance if you feed at 7.0 and your runoff is at 5.0 then the formula would be ? + 7.0/2=5.0 In this case 3.0+7.0=10 and 10/2=5.0 so your soil would be 3.0. This isn't exact, it is a good guess at what your soil ph is and will keep you in the range.

As for how much longer, that is hard to tell. It is going to depend on strain, lighting, feed, etc. there are far too many variables to try and guess that. From the looks of her you still have a lot of time left. The only way to know for sure is to continue checking the trichomes.

Yes a4 i am using soil, budget job im afraid and i shall have to save quickly for some better soil and nutrients, atm my run off is 6.0 an water is 7.6 so that should make soil about 4.6 right?

Yes, that would be pretty close, actually I am thing 4.4 but it is pretty close. You can see by the chart below where your ph is and what nutrients are available at those ph levels. You will use the one on the right because of soil. The one on the left is hydro.
