Yeah but Only till a little tiny bit of run off, could underwatering be the problem ?
Underwatering could be the problem yes! But typically small & often wateringss at this stage are better that big ones once a week.
It's a good idea to pre water (at the correct pH) the pot before you drop your seed (like a day or so before) so there's plenty of moisture in there - then just little and often until the plant is about 30 cms tall (or day 20-25 if you got a good start) .

cococo can give more trouble than soil.ph/ec/ppm/tds a lot more critical than soil.sometimes ya gotta do weird things like presoak the cococo in calmag.never plain water,minimum of 300 ppms.can also be great medium for big plants
