hey guys...been doing this for a while and for some reason only with autos do i get all kinds of deficiencies...can anyone give me some tips on how i can fix my issues... setup= 600w hps, regular miracle grow from lowes, jobe's organic ferts(which also has cal- mag in it)...yes i know my materials are on the cheap side but im on a super low budget, looks like i have a cal def. im not sure tho that's why im asking for other opinions.

also 2 different plants....one is "auto-pounder" from Auto(the many little buds)...and the other is "the big easy" from Freedom (main cola pic)

U probably need to check your ph it could be a lockout. I don't trust anything with the word miracle in it lol. It pays to pay a lil extra for good soil and nutes.

lol yeah i wanted the promix stuff but the nearest home depot is like 30 miles away....damn a ph tester....one of the only things i didn't buy because i thought i had it, turned out to be a ppm chlorine strip(s)....do you think some of the garden lime would work for it

Ditch the MG bro thats the reason for the problems, there be no point adding garden lime because your PH might be way to high not too low your realy could do with checking the PH the get back to us for the best advice and welcome to AFN

Your mix has lots of deficiencies, based on your description. If you haven't done anything to buffer the pH, it's too low... MG has a very low pH out of bag. Garden Lime is dolomite which would not have time to help much at this stage of the plant's life. So, unfortunately, there is little good news within an honest answer to your request.

But, the plant doesn't look like it is about to die, nor does it look like it is very long before harvest time. The plant isn't going to start looking pretty, but you'll get a harvest. Just take it as a learning experience.

BTW, if you have been using this same method with photos and getting great result, it has been pure luck. Photos and autos are not exactly the same but they are not so different that a grow method that provides plenty of nutrition for a photo run would not provide enough for an auto run. :peace:

Another new thing ive learned about the MG being low PH cheers X:thumbs:
with the dolomite would it not be possible if he made it up with warm water untill fully dissolved:peace: Si

Thanks for the welcome...looks like i found a good hang out spot, since i like autos...i also didn't know that MG is low pH...definitely will take this as a learning experience, i had a run before this one using only CFLs and it was very clear that they had Ca def. but it also didn't help that they were burnt to shit....that's why i went to hps(that was the lesson learned)...so that brought me to this, my first hid run...so maybe if i add a cup of the dolomite to maybe about 2gal of warm water i might help?

lol yeah i really thought so too(not being sarcastic):D, they were all bagseed and all done outside in the yard but with a MG "digout' around the roots for them to gain a little momentum before hitting the yard dirt...i just recently starting going with quality genes(was getting tired of that dirt taste)

I would say 1table spoon per 2L it will still take a day or so to soak in before it will work:thumbs: i have used the method a few times but i would only use it if i realy need to... You could also feed just PH 6.5 water for a few feeds.. if you knew what you run PH was i could advise a PH.... feed

I can't say it isn't possible, but it appears to be too late in the plant's life-cycle to fix much at this point... It probably wouldn't hurt anything though.

That might explain a lot... first, natural sunlight can help compensate for some human error, in my experience and, depending on the natural soil, it's possible that took care of your missing micro-nutrients, not to mention natural microbial activity. :peace:

I tried using pulverized Dolomite lime last year in a pinch and it worked but I didnt let it disolve and it left a nasty ole silt all over the top LMAO!Not sure if there is a major difference if its hydrated lime? I couldnt find it anywhere when I needed it the most.LOL.

I used reg. miracle grow some years ago, jacked me up man.LOL!the only one of Miracle grows products as far as soil goes is the miracle grow organic mix.its fairly sterile of nutes n such.A little course for somes tatse but decent cheap soil with no real PH or burn issues if ya wanna stick with MG soil.and if memory serves since I just woke up n got a headache is ya can use(soory if sum1 touched on this already)Baking soda to raise your PH and i think its white distilled vinegar to lower it.man I need an excedrin LOL:wiz: best of luck brother hope all goes well for ya man.

EDIT: dang I type slow.LMAO!
