Hi guys, I would like to apologize for not introducing myself when I came here, I was in panic with my disastrous first grow, so I went straight for asking for help. I realize that wasn't very polite, so ...
I'm from east europe, suffering from cifo-scoliosis (nasty back pains), so I guess since weed helps me function, I can call myself a medical marijuana user although in this part of the world such thing doesn't exist.
As i said my first attempt was a disaster, kinda, still I had a decent harvest. My plants overgrew my tent, a few branches completely surounded the light and there was no light for the rest. But I did have some serious buds on the ones in the light. About 120 grams so I would say good enough for a first.
My second grow is now in seedling stage. So far it looks that I fixed some of the causes for the stretch, namely, I used HPS red spectrum all the way last time. This time I got a dual spectrum and also installed 3 blue cfl's so far it's only day 3 but they look happy and no sign of stretch yet. Also I learned about LST too late last time now I prepared holes and everything for it if I see stretching.
I have a BUDDA room grow tent I got on ebay, 600W HPS with cooltube, 8 Pot wilma hydro system, and I Grow with Canna coco medium & nutes. From 8 seeds planted 7 are already out 3 days ago one, didn't show up. 1 g13 diesel auto, 1 dinafem auto white widow, 2 afghan kush ryder, 2 pakistan kush ryder, 2 lowryder diesel ryder. The one that didn't show up to the party yet is a pakistan already planted another white widow, in case it doesn't. All are fem.
What do you guys think 600w is enough light for 8 plants in a 1.2m x 1.2m tent? I keep thinking maybe it is not enough and that's why my previous ones engaged into the fight for light streching madness?
