Live Stoner Chat Hi All, New grower in Holland

Hi There.

I am planning my first grow for this spring, so i thought it would be good to join this forum. Already found a few tips on this place trough Google. Due to small apartment (and family) I will be growing outside on my terrace (2nd floor). Well combination of outdoor and using a small self-made greenhouse.

I am 35 years old, and have been a off and on recreational smoker for large part of my life, had friends that had grow-ups but never got to it myself. But this year my wife agreed for me to grow a few buds. At the moment I am not smoking/using, but was diagnosed with ADD last year and they put me on horrible dextroamphetamine. After the nasty side effects became apparent i stopped that crap and started meditating instead.

But now I want to start supplementing with cannabis, and wipe the dust off my vaporizer. And i don't trust the stuff they sell in coffeeshops these days (A dutch Uni found mold and pesticides in coffeeshop bought stuff) So I want to grow my own organic medicine Besides its something I've wanted to do for a long time, and seem like a fun and rewarding hobby.

I am also looking at getting my doc to prescribe me some medical buds so i can get it at the pharmacy. At least until i wait for my own crop.

I live in NL, but originally from much further north (69 degrees north)

I will start a separate thread with picture of my half made greenhouse and to get some tips on when to start etc,

Lots of good info here, and friendly folks. I am also in the Nederlands and preparing for a first grow. Don't read too much or you will end up like me, just when you think you have your gear list ready, you see something better, smarter or cheaper......

First off welcome Spyfish , Corgy and Belial . It's not only a Dutch habit Belial but a Canadian habit as well This is the best site you'll find for growing , lots of help and very friendly people . I guess I'm a bit surprised that you would need help growing the common impression might be that the Dutch know everything there is to know about growing canna.
Once again welcome and does this mean we now have a new source for seeds . :dance2: Just kidding .

Mr ganjamoto, I swiped trough your latest grow report/blog. I am mighty impressed! Very inspiring. I will using DP seeds, i drooling for AutoBlueberry but that might be optimistic for a outdoor/mini greenhouse at this latitude.

I cant think of a better plant to start with. as long as you consider shes a lite feeder and hates wet feet and temps have to be
right and and.
well if you pull it off she is the bombdiggity!
I have like 1/2 ounce left of the blueberry and as soon as i run the rest of my seeds out I am totally going get some more.
I have never had a bad Dutch passion seed!

Thanks For the tip AutoFrisian Dew is definitely on my consideration list. I've described my full plans here with picture of my greenhouse frame.

Thanks man That is good to hear, blueberry is one of the best smoke I've had in coffeeshops. Hmm, maybe ill go for AutioFrisian Dew and Autoblueberry + Passion #1 (photo)

its not the growing that i need to learn about more about how to handle autos as i have never had them before also making good new strain takes a lot of time and effort. so if i can get some tips or answers from people who allready been there can never hurt and will surely prove usefull
