Grow Mediums Hi all this is my first AF grow.

Harvest Day for the Bubblelicious!!! Here are some pics! I am soo excited! I have been buying weed all my life and this is my first successful grow! For the quick dry test it's a real smooth sweet taste. It smells like a lemon. Nice uppity high but yet I feel a little stoned too. Can't wait to try this after it's cured. I am hanging them in the basement to dry. It's cool, dark and moist down there. If anyone can suggest the best place to dry a plant please let me know. I will wait until I can do the snap test with the stalk then put into glass jars. I am gonna use old jelly,pickle and olive jars. Cleaned out of course. YAY!!!:clap:

Ok to keep the grow going I started germination of another Bubblelicious today! As one finishes I start another. I am going to keep doing autos forever! I am gonna start photo's so I can get some weight to put up. A super stash!! I never want to run out of weed again. I should be in that situation within 6 months! Just a couple more grows to build up the stash and then grow less plants to keep the inventory up!!

Love that enthusiasm! After I ran Autos for about a year, I tried some photos again. They took so long and didn't really yield any more than the autos in 2 gallon pots, I went back to Autos. They are more fun for me. I also am impatient.

I have a question. Do I flush after all the fan leaves turn yellow and if so how long after the sugar leaves start turning yellow, or do the sugar leaves start turning yellow after you start the flush? I am happy to grow my first plants pretty much successfully.

I have only 1 plant (jock horror) with a beautiful main cola and some nice side branches but I needed more room for the plants. I have bare sides on all 3 cause of my space. The other Bubble's main cola is pathetic. The side branches have bigger buds! As far as my other sick Jock Horror she came back to life but growth was stunted severely. I am taking all my lessons from this grow so I can get better. Thank you all here on AFN for you help. I will have new pics soon.

I flush as the plant just starts to yellow up. A good rule of thumb, is to go to 75-80 days and flush. But you can take them early, if you want an uppity high, or later if you want to be put to bed!! Here is a great read for that question...

Help! Should I start the flush?

I am at day 74. Here are some pics. The trichs are cloudy no amber trichs. The Jock Horror's are sativa so I expect not to see to many and the 1 is Bubblelicious and was my tallest plant and indica so I hope the trichs turn amber for that couchlock stone too. I like both highs! . I am doing a rez change now and I guess I add no nutes and start the flush right? I have read both threads on when to harvest autos. I am doing DWC not soil so does that make a difference. If I should add nutes please let me know otherwise I am going with plain PH'd water. I don't wanna mess these up anymore than I already have so if they need to go longer and I need to add nutes PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP!
