Live Stoner Chat Hi All...Total Newbie

Hi All,
Well this will be our first adventure into growing our own. Wife and I are in Northern Cali and want to grow our own medical garden. I did a bit of research and we want to try our hand at growing autos outdoors...at least at first.

What seeds did you go for?

I would suggest keeping it simple to start with - there's probably 1000 tricks to use, but most often, some good quality soil, a digital PH pen and some basic nutrients is all you need to get going!

Take a look at a few of the outdoor journals for inspiration!

If you need any help finding your way around the forums, give us a holler and we'll be happy to help!

I agree with Blue. I am pretty new to growing as well and simple is better. The hardest part for me is leaving my plants alone and letting them do their thing. I use a simple soil mix and fox farms trio and it has worked out fine. As you get more experience you can add some tricks here and there. Before then if you run into any problems there are plenty of people here that will help you along the way. Oh, yeah. Welcome to AFN my friend.

Well Blue...seeds to start with are:
60 Day Lemon Auto-flowering Feminized Seeds
60 Day Wonder Auto-flowering Feminized Seeds
Great White Shark Auto Fem
Hindu Kush Auto Fem
Auto Lemon Skunk Fem

My "plan" is to try a couple seeds from each...so if I totally crash and burn I still have more seeds! I am going to attempt to grow outdoors in the back yard. Since we have are legal med cards I can do this...without to much police hassle. I am sure I will be asking a lot of questions in the coming weeks about watering, ph levels, veg and flowering feeding, etc.
