Hello everybody, Marty here over in the UK.

Started my second grow used this site on my first grow but didn't really have much time to keep a diary up to date etc, but going to give it a shot this time, so will be starting diary it in next couple of days. But must say without this site I don't think I would have made it till end of grow with out plants dying!
SO THANK YOU AFN!!!

Growing Durch passions think different, plagron light mix 15l airpot, in a secret Jardin dr60, currently under 300w cfl, but will be change to 400w MH very soon. Currently day 10. Ohh I'm going to try and follow tangs feeding schedule as well seeing as so many other growers have had such success with it and seems to produce some monster plants!!!

My first grow was 4 plants, star Ryder, autoXTreme, auto ultimate and think different. Got a decent harvest, just short of 12oz which I was more than happy with, but the fact plants really weren't in the best condition come harvest time. Too much for my first grow I think.

Coolio Marty! Skip the MH and just go with HPS! It will stretch a bit, but you cant flower with MH. Well you can, but the buds will be very airy and with no denseness to them. Good luck and keep the green peace alive!

Plan was to MH for veg, and they HPS for flower. I'm also toying with the idea of no HID lighting and to go LED. A bit unsure at the moment though.

Welcome. I'm on my second grow. The first was like your first, buds had no weight to them, and I dealt with fungus gnats, clawfoot leaves, low pH, etc due to too much excitement and too little knowledge. I grew Purple Express and A Little Kushy Auto.
Learned a lot. A big plus is the smoke tastes better than the imported bud I was smoking.
My second grow started a week ago when I planted my seedlings. No water or food since then and they are looking great- two Walter Whites and one Critical Rapido.
The last grow I had already watered the seedlings 3 times and fed them once. Live and learn.
