Your money, get what you really think you will be happy with, but I am very with my autopots and wouldn't touch a dwc or rdwc system.

yeah i was planning on rwdc till i stumbled on this forum and have seen how easy and automated autopots are. plus it's really hot here so I would need a chiller if I go rdwc.....

They are pretty much the same but I'd recommend using Drip Clean as what briman also suggests. Here is a pic of my 15L autopot/airdome setup in a 4x4 tent.

I am planing on getting a 5 x 5 with 6 quantum board at 900 watts, plus the 2 pot smartpot xl system. Do the airdomes work with the fabric smartpots though?

with fabric smartpots, you would not need airdomes, as the fabric air prunes and the roots get all the oxygen they need.

Another question in regards to drip clean does it have beneficial bacteria like hydroguard? Becuase I was planning on adding hydroguard to prevent root rot.... plus i think there are insect here and was thinking of getting sm-90 as well but if one product does all 3 less would be cheaper so thats good.

I would use Recharge as mycos/beneficials. I would use drip clean, as its a lot batter than hydroguard. sm-90 would be good for bugs. With a setup like you are planning on using, go all out and get the very best equipment you can afford. There are too many autopot users here, that have NO problems with their lines to really worry about it. Be careful of the miracle, multi use snake oils out on the market.
I have friends in climates that run the autopots in 100*F weather outdoors or indoors in a greenhouse with not a worry with their rez getting too hot.

If I add an airdome would it supercharge air into it even more for faster growth or do you think the results would be negligable?

I was thinking of hydroguard for the mycos since it doesn't clog lines in dwc I heard recharge can't be put in the reservoir? How do you apply recharge? yeah read about bud boosting additives being a waste of money like bud candy and it actually just turns into foodd for the bennies. Is there a cheaper sugar alternative to feed the bacteria?

recharge can be put in the rez, only if you dont use a airstone or a water pump to move the water around. I use powdered Black Strap molasses off amazon. Black Strap molasses also has magnesium, to offset the need for large amounts of cal/mag needed for led lighting.

Do you stick the molasses into the reservoir as well?

yes, 1 TBSP for 4 gallons. Now you tell me if I am worried about molasses clogging up a 1/4 inch line? NO, not with the drip clean! BUT, again, chop your plants and clean your system asap! when I chop the plants down, I take the rez and dump it out, fill it with warm water and bleach and drop the floats valves, lines gromets and trays in the rez and let it sit overnight. Never a problem with a clog.
