Hi guys. Cocha mate the water I phed to 5.8 has been left stand-in in an airtight drum for 24 hrs. I just tested its ph and ppm-ec and the ph is now 6.4 do I ph it Bk to 5.8 ...... also if the info blue said is right .... my ppm is 150 and I do those calculations it equals .3 is that right it also matches the hanna on war u said do u think that's right

Hi mate ...yup if your tds meter is hanna then 150 ppm will be EC-0.3 . you got it bro !

what are you doing with the water in drum mate ?. please try to be as descriptive as possible Smerky as Ive only got what you tell me to go on ...is this water for the 1st res without nutes until you see the root ? .... or are you planning on adding nutes to this water ?

...whats the seedling up to ??? . is it in the bucket yet

...how old is it (days above ground ) .

Did you sort out posting pics with Blue ?

Sorry about that mate I pope my seeds in tissue and when they cracked I put them in root riot cubes wich were soaked in phed water wich had been standin for 24hrs. The cubes were then put in unheated propagater 24hrs later they poped up. Wich was this morning. The water in the barrel that has been standin for 24hrs wich was phed to 5.8 wich is now 6.4 is the water I'm going to use 1st off with no notes just the ph down. I was planning depending on what u recommend putting them into system today or tomorrow. Also I dnt think iv received the info from blue about posting photos. I did read sumthin about taptalk. I really ent to put up sum photos cause photos say that words carnt. And I'm well happy now I no how to use ppm mter

Ok cool .... I think Blue sent you a private message about posting pics mate ?.... did you get that or no ?.

Personally I dont bother to PH the water for the 1st few days but I guess its ok .

My advice would be to get the baby in the bucket carefully (todaay or tomorrow is fine , or wait a bit longer if youlike ?)...get the water bubbling in there & wait a few days ...if no tap root is showing by then it may be an idea to make a new res with some baby nutes !. Once all thats done ...refill the drum with water again & stand ,ready for making your 1st batch of nutes in a few days "wg's Cool"

That fine dude & Blues cool :Sharing One: obviously this is a canna forum & what we do is not exactly legal (can't think why though !?) so be careful what you take pics of ...no faces ect !... & once you get there a nice pic of the seedling , the whole set up from a distance for perspective ! , & anything else you think will help us see whats going on in your tent .... details about your tent temps ... RH (room humidity ) ...water temps (very important bro) get a mini aquarium temp gauge for that is a must .

I no wat your sayin about how I take photos. Anyway the girls went in system lastnite. The question I have is when I set up the dwc it was on my friends loft floor wich is wooden. I have put airpumps up off the floor. But the res wiv air stones is load and it sits directly above his bedroom and you can hear the airstones bubbling. Is there a way to dampen this sound by putting something under res.

celotex oir soundproof tiles are good mate ? if you can get another sheet of board or something (1/2" plywood ect),stood on a few small , short 2/3" legs making an air cavity between the bucket base & attic floor...that will help a lot ...some celotex sat on that would be great. ??? the best way to kill sound is a air cavity ,but foam , polystyrene , insulation is ok (both even better!) .If you need to bodge it for a while ,just sit the bucket on a stool or something until you can do better. Raising the pump should help ( should always be above the bucket to prevent syfoning if the pump fails ) ...may wanna think about temps & hotspots in the attic unless you have a tent or box up there to contain it ?
