First grow, hoping for some input from the experienced...


Problem: A few leaves yellowing with brown spots

Medium/grow method: Pro-mix, fabric pot

Feed: and supplements used: FoxFarms trio 1/2 strength

water source: tap

Strain/age: Blue cush day 48 from sprout

light used: "300 watt" Blurple ( 130ish watts), 18" , 20/4

Climate: indoors

Additional info: just started last day or so, upper leaves affected, most of plant is fine

Hey man are you feeding her any cal/mg? I only really grow outdoors, but from what i've seen the blurple lights are ca/mg hogs for some reason.

No CalMag. Was trying to go mimalist but I guess I'll have to look into a supplement.

I would wait for a second opinion before ordering anything as I wouldn't be 100% sure that's the problem @Waira is the man for deficiency advice, and may even be able to tell us why blurple lights are ca/mg hogs?

You will want calmag on hand when using led lights. I've been using liquid Botanicare Cal-Mag Plus for years.

Thanks everyone for your advice.

Make sure to pH your feed well when using calmag, it can cause as many issues as it fixes if you let it raise your soil pH. It may be more of an issue for hydro, but it can't hurt to make sure it's close before feeding.
