Live Stoner Chat Hi there!

BTW... I'm new at tapatalk... So be patient with me! Lol!

Welcome to AFN, Ken! With your breeding background, it will be interesting to see what type of mischief you end up getting into! Today's autos are much improved, so I'm sure you'll find plenty of strains to experiment with. Enjoy, and I look forward to seeing your grows!

Welcome Ken
I'm sure we can all benefit from your knowledge but you may learn some new tricks too ad might make some new friends along the way

If you're going to be in Plagron light, you already have a custom-tailored, well established, feeding schedule ready and waiting for you...one of our most accomplished growers, TaNg, put it together...it's bible for plagron apparently :)

Man, I feel really welcome here! Thanks y'all! I had a look at Dinafem's today and I must say that their XXL line does sound great. I guess you guys convinced me to grow a few next spring for an early harvest. I always have a gang of photo period plants up for the summer so I'll try a few AF's too. My favorite outside photo plant of all times is DP's Shaman. I doubt it'll ever come out as an AF because Shaman is an F1 hybrid. This does however mean that I can venture into different strains. Sweeeeeeeeet!
I like Plagron Light Mix so I looked up TaNg's feeding schedule (Thanks for the tip Trapper!) and I do basically the same but with different brands. I'm into the whole Aptus range excluding Regulator. It's all organically bound so imo less salt build up. I agree with TaNg that you build up nutes slowly. In my inside grows I grow in coco so its fairly easy to flush. I do so once during flowering to dispose of excess P before adding CaMg-Boost and K-Boost followed by a week long flush before harvest. I also use Humic Blast to help clear out excess nutes before the new clones come in. As a flowering stimulator I use Green Sensation inside and outside in my backyard (100% organic for personal and medical use) I use Bio-Bloombastic and Bionova's Vitrasol. But I feed lightly though trying to avoid deficiencies. I use a Hanna PH/EC/Temp meter and usually end up during mid flowering at about EC 1.5 at PH 5.8 (coco) and PH 6.5 in Plagron.
Am I right thinking that most AF strains are light feeders? Dinafem even advises to add 30% coco to the potting soil. Coco contains hardly if any nutes plus it aerates the soil.

Well guys, another early morn in the making. Catch you on the rebound! ;-):Sharing One:

Now then Kenneth,

I've grown Lowryder AK47 Auto in the past it would of been an absolute belter if i'd have given it a perfect environment... Potent smoke though. Long time ago.

Sounds like you know your stuff lad, hope to learn and share info with you in future!

Peace in't middle east

The pool of knowledge just got deeper! Welcome, bro

Hey NuteBurn, thanks for the compliment! I feel like I found a nice crowd to hang out with. I've been on a forum to two in the past but they turned out to be a contest (who has the biggest?) instead of sharing knowledge. I haven't encountered that here yet. Nobody's trying to outstage another. I really think I found a fun and knowledgeable gang here even though I'm more into photo strains.
You guys have already convinced me to start a couple of AF's next spring! Now... The question remains... Which strains? I looked at Dinafem's and like their Haze and Cheese XXL. And like you say, a good environment is quintessential!

That almost exactly identifies AFN's mission statement. The Admins, Mods, High Team and members value this highest...and work very hard to maintain exactly this environment.

You say your favorite strain is DP, try one of their auto's...DP Think Different, Auto Ultimate, Auto Extreme, Blue Auto Mazar...

Ronin and blessedwashinton are running some XXLs, hit them up for opinions :) I know Ronin's White Widow XXL went bonkers...huge.

2 things:

For Sweet Seeds, Dutch Passion, Dragon Masters, Mephisto, EVOL, and a couple others, the Seed Vendor Sub-forums on AFN
are a great place to look at grow logs on particular strains and get unbiased (mostly) objective data.

RE: Photoperiods - There is a good, knowledgable group in the photoperiod section here too, so bases covered... :)

Hey guys, I just wanted to let you know that I started a new post named: "Grow report 30x Dutch Passion's Orange Hill Special (fem)". It's in DP's own section. Thanks for your interest and let me know if you have any questions or concerns? Cheers, and a happy new year!
