I have a basement grow,i need to seal off and hide odor. what all do I need to consider? any size filter?fan? I was thinking of a wall off area and seal edges, the foam spray stuff if affordable to create a private concealed room. thanks for help.

Spray foam and caulk works fine...... Keep a container of on a gel handy for back up......and I am assuming you are using a carbon filter....... As a back up to the back up I have a UV filter on a timer.......I only need it when Im harvesting and/or trimming.

I don't have anything for filter yet. I assume I seal the room air tight then, in and out filters.. I just thru some lights up and started. now I need to build a secret room for it. what filters ? thanks

Well get some ona gel and place on the outside of the room NEVER INSIDE WITH YOUR PLANTS.....

sounds like you could smoke next to ona and not smell. I don't know forsure. thanks for info.
Oh yeah...,..good stuff....it cancel out odors at the molecular level..... Don't want it in the same room because it will alter the smell of your plants..

I wouldnt be too concerned with making the room air tight. Get a decent fan and filter combo and it will be pulling a vacuum in the room which will not let smell escape. Good size carbon filter lasts me 12-18 months
