Quick question to everyone. How do you check the trichs before harvest for color? I use the Carson magnifier that many use but I can't stay steady enough to focus properly. As a result I cut off a bit of a sugar leaf so I can place it on the table for a more steady picture.

How do you all do it?

set the focus in the livingroom first.

and a steady hand i spose and just look at the buds.

That. Sugar leaf snip. Place on the table.... put the scope over top and don't touch it. It's like a lollypop forest.

I use my cell camera and then enlarge the pic on screen. I also have a Plugable USB microscope (under $40) on amazon that I can focus and take multiple pics to look at on laptop. It's kinda hard to judge by sugar leafs as they normally ripen faster then direct on buds.

I have the same one but clip it on phone then zoom in and record all around. Afterwards go back and watch video.

Wow I didn't realize that the leaves ripen faster...thanks for the info!
