I'm contemplating a grow in my attic in Florida this summer ... is there a short auto that can handle high temperatures, maybe up to 120F ?

You could probably do it using a small aircon unit to provide a cold air intake into your grow room and a decent exhaust out. Could cause some problems with humidity but that can be fixed with a humidifier.

Anythings possible if you try hard enough ;)

Check this out, Cheap Aircon

EDIT: Just an extra thought, if you used dry ice inside the box i think it would last longer and as it evaporates it will release co2 given it is after all just frozen c02.
From what iv'e read people use co2 to combat the effects of high temperatures so could be really useful.

I must add all of that is just me guessing so look it up in some detail before using it

So your attic has no windows, no fresh air in-take and no way to exhaust? ... We need a little more info, what are you working with before we can really recommend anything. There's additives, like Silica Blast or Rhino Skin that'll help plants handle temps up to ~100, ~105 you start to push it.. ~107, the plants will stroke more than likely.. two temperature point difference is no bueno..

When you add an element like being outside of the desirable temp range, you create other elements as well..

I guess the idea was a bad one ... I have no doubt that the inside of that attic hits 120+ daily during the summer, I guess I thought there was a plant that could tolerate the heat .... thanks for the input y'all.

It's not necessarily a bad one if you can intake cooler air from a room below and extract hotter air up the chimney. You could have a tent/diy room in there sitting at a reasonable tempt even if it is surrounded by hot air. Have the lights out period during the hottest part of the day. If it gets a little hotter than recommended you can use the additives suggested above

Attic space I wanted to grow in is above the garage which has temperatures of well over 100 degrees during the daylight hours in the summertime ... I guess it's either indoors, outdoors or nothing ...
