Live Stoner Chat High Times Top 40 from 1977

Unless you lived in Cali, smoking bud was unheard of until the early 80's. You bought a bag of weed, it was ground/crushed leaf, maybe some bud, and seeds. I never even heard of Thai Stick until about 1983, and even then it had seed in it! Sinsemilla? what kinda weed is that???........

Back in the 70s I would take a little sieve, and gently run the pot through that.
I'd separate out the seeds, sticks and stems. Then I'd seperate the powder from
the leaf. The powder got smoked first, by itself. Then I'd wrap a gram of cheap
Moroccan hash in tinfoil, warm it with a match to make it soft, and then crumble it
into the leafy parts. I didn't know it at the time, but I was mixing indica with sativa.
Which is what all the fancy breeding does now.

Ahhh hash! I became a connoisseur of fine hash lol! I lived in a small town. For some unknown reason, one of the bars there became the hash capital of the tricounty area, Even weirder, they never got busted..lol! I got some mind numbing hash there. You didn't want to smoke in the parking lot in winter, you might sit there and freeze to death...it was that good! :bong:

Well, honestly, I don't understand why people trim the sugar leaf. Guess I'll find out when mine is ready to smoke! :Sharing One:

Great thread guys :)

If you talk to the older crowd round my area you can still find Malawi Gold wrapped and sold like this from around £40 an oz. Many use it as a filler or just an alternative to tobacco. I'll always have a soft spot for it :)
