Things were getting a little dense in there so I took some of the fan leaves off. Getting a bit more light on the lower buds. Starting to get them sticky hairs on the buds also. It's been 4 weeks since I switched to 12/12. Maybe a month to go.

Another update... around week 9 and doing well. Buds getting frosty an swelling up. Almost touching the light but not burning. I may have to take the top bud off. So far getting the Cal mag and flora nova bloom at every watering. Some leaf tips are burnt but not an issue. It's using the food well. Getting this great smell and I noticed a purple tinge to some pistols.

I am going to throw this out there for any opinions... I grew a few autos 3 yrs ago and they were very fast like after 3 weeks they had pre flowers and took maybe 8 or 9 weeks to finish. Are the new auto seeds bred with less ruderalis genetics? I could see this keeping them auto but maybe getting more of the potency of the sativa or indica. Some grows I see here take longer.

Depends on the strain, there are a lot of short flowering ones available in 60 days seed to harvest. Thought we'd agreed yours was a photo and that's why it's taken so long?

Yes I think we did... at least that's my story and I'm sticking with that. I just made the comment over all. I don't know much about hybrids and not sure if I care to learn at the moment but it's just stuff I ponder over.. so many different strains around these days! That's the nice thing about this site, a person can get some good info to narrow down the choices.

So I have been busy trimming some fan leaves off the HBD. The buds are not huge but there are lots. If I get an Oz. It will last me a few yrs. Lol
I read somewhere this strain fattens up in the last 2 weeks.

So I'm not sure if this is normal but I may have found a few nanners. Considering I have 1 plant I don't think it's an issue. Just wondering if they produce pollen? Not sure if I want a bull running around with my hieffers! From other plants I have grown(not weed). The pistols shrivel up when they get pollenated . Anyway I will tweazer them off later when the lights are on and hope the potency isn't effected. I will try to snap a photo later.

Best remove them mate as I think they can self pollinate.

Thanks Sensi. I have removed a few so far. Will have a closer look with some tweazers. I tell you this has been an experience this grow. Learning some things.
