Live Stoner Chat Hip Surgery

Wow! Thank you everyone for the well wishes.

@epenguin doctors say easy surgery and may be able to go back to work in maybe 3 weeks. Overnight hospital stay and go unless they are bullshitting me
They are lying, it's not an easy surgery. Let them be on the receiving end and see if they say it's still easy! Any of us who had them done know even with all the morphine, your gonna be requesting more. I would think no less then a month and even then you will be limping alot still and won't be doing much in way of stairs either. after 2-3 months the limping may start fade away a bit, but may never totally go away.

and it's not an overnight stay , it's 2-3 days stay. you won't even get out of bed the same day as surgery, probably next morning... but make sure get your morphine 20mins before they do try getting you up, as you will feel your being ripped apart, and thats no lie!

Like the lads say. This is deep invasive surgery. My hospital keeps a separate room for hips as they have to open you up so deep. They don't wanna mix heart/stomach etc with hips. I was left with 36 staples !!!

For all this, I would not want to put you off, it HAS to be done and you get better every day. I would say 2/3 months before you are fit for work. But that depends on your type of work. Digging ditches....nah.....office work.....yeah. Good luck chum. Please do keep in touch and keep us updated.......we love a good operation...............:muahaha:

@Crafty croatian and his new Dutch Aneurysm High CBD strains. Get 'em while you can. £7.00/seed, less for buying in bulk. Contact the Penguin Seedbank with your bank details and pin number now. You know it makes sense...........

And hobble I do! Hard time even tying my shoes. I work in an office building and manage general services. Copiers, vendors, mail services. No lifting at all. I have people do that for me. The joys of aging

Thanks @Eyes on Fire. Scared to death of this surgery. Few years back my brother had minor surgery and had a reaction to anesthesia. They had to slit his throat and inserted a tube so he could breathe
